Local residents fight to stop Loch Linnhe being used as a testbed reaches respected international news agency
Bloomberg News is one of the worlds best known and most respected international news agencies, with an emphasis on financial and business news.
Now they have published an article focussing on the difficulties faced by the Scottish salmon industry and in particular Loch Long Salmon (LLS), proposers of the Loch Linnhe salmon mega-farm.
The article covers LLS's proposals to use untested new technology on a huge scale in an attempt to meet sustainability, fish welfare, ecological impact challenges - however they face strong opposition from local residents who are determined that Loch Linnhe should not be used as a testbed for this industrial scale experiment.
